The holiday region of the high plateau Renon (Ritten) lies at a height of 900 - 1.200 m above sea level and is especially popular as a summer resort.
The earth pyramids of Renon are very famous, they can be visited at Longomoso.
A cog railway used to take people up to the Renon plateau, later it was substituted by a cablecar. The Renon cablecar has been preserved in its original form between Soprabolzano and Collalbo, it goes every half an hour the whole year round.

Especially in summer you can enjoy the fresh mountain air at nearly 1.200 m above sea level and follow the tracks of Sigmund Freud in this magnificent landscape. The real attraction of Renon is the impressive landscape with the one or other picturesque accent given by an old church or chapel.
For those who love sports the area offers a tennis court and the beautyful Lake Costalovara.
In winter you can enjoy the lifts and slopes of Corno del Renon, Collalbo has a speed skating facility.
The cultural highlights are the summer shows of Renon with interesting performances taking place every year from the end of July to the end of August.
