The beautiful village Luson (Lüsen) is situated at a height of 971 m above sea level and lies on a very sunny hill surrounded by mountain pastures and steep coniferous forests.

The walks to the Alpe di Luson high plateau are unique and offer a wonderful view.
Following a small street to the Passo Erbe pass you can easily reach the nature park Puez-Odle and the Dolomites.

In summer the natural swimming pond with a slide is the main attraction for families.

In winter it is the little ski lift and the ice rink. The winter landscape is also ideal for snowshoeing.

The parish church with the St. Killian chapel, housing a wing altar of the 15th century, are worth visiting and also the small church St. Nicholas in Pezzè Luson, it was constructed as substitution of a pagan shrine.

Of the former 33 water mills in Luson only the Pardeller mill has been preserved, it can be visited as demonstration mill.
